Does anyone have a really simple recipe for GF alfredo sauce? My

inlaws made fettucine on the weekend, and I was obviously unable to

eat it. (I had brought something that I could eat, but that smell of

real pasta cooking, mmmmmmmmm) Since then, I've REALLY been craving

it. I already have the noodles, but I've looked and looked for an

easy sauce recipe and have come up empty.

Do you just want a single serving? All I do is saute garlic in

butter, slowly stir in cream (off the heat), return to heat and melt

in parmesan cheese. You can use milk or half and half.

Nichole, This is my favorite. It takes about 10 minutes to make stovetop.. I use the shredded Parmesan to save time. Makes quite a few servings too. http://recipes.allrecipes.com/Utilities/PrintRecipe.aspx?RecipeID=19402 & servings=4 & Format=Full Amy in Central AR Schlotter wrote: Does anyone have a really simple recipe for GF alfredo sauce? I use the recipe for a white sauce on the side of the box of

cornstarch then add grated parmesean & romano cheese to taste, a

little garlic powder & pepper. Takes about 10 mins tops and you can

make as much as you want.

I'll need 2 servings - but it's always nice to have leftovers too.

Thanks for your suggestion.

I don't know about you but I sometimes just want and easy way. All of

Classico red and white sauces are gluten free. You can even see it on

their website. www.classico.com

I tried the Roasted Garlic Alfredo the other night with chicken and

Tinkyada penne pasta and fell in love! It's a great way to make an

easy meal.

Good alfredo rarely reheats well. The fat separates from the rest.

That's why I rarely make large amounts.

,

If you make your alfredo sauce from scratch, try putting a little bit of fresh

lemon basil in it.

It's really good!

So, I took the lazy way out - bought the Classico stuff. But it was

very good,(I bought the four cheese blend - it's new) and certainly

satisfied my craving.

Thanks to everyone who shared their versions!

I make it the same way as ygg, and also add the mini shrimp (the ones

about the size of a nickle) and then toss with tinkyada(?sp) pasta.

YUM!!!
