Ativan is lorazepam - we can't get it for home use in NZ either. Adults yes,

but not yet approved here for children at home. Dunno why when a big country

like the US has been using it for ages...

Midazolam is for hospital (IV) use only here too, so we are even further

behind than you guys...

I tried to ask for Ativan that other people seem to

be using as an emergency med but the drs. in UK don't

seem to know about it. Must check on what it's

called here. We have tried (buccal midan) midozolan (sp)

that's put under the tounge but that doesn't seem

to work either.

Ofcourse in hospital they've given lorazipam a couple

of times but that was given in a drip.
