I've just given him a bit of bicarbonate of sodium a few hours ago. I don't understand what is going up??? His blood ketones are very low at 0.2 mmol/l and he's on 2.1 ratio and even sick and tired... I've checked his urinary ketones levels and it's xxx so not so bad.... Someone could tell me about that??? Is it possible that blood ketones are nearly zero and keto sticks 3x? Langan has acidosis too and has to come off the diet but they may know what tests etc. do. She has posted today under 'Wish Us Luck!!!' His unusual blood and urine results reinforce a conclusion of dehydration, not to mention being sick and tired.
