sniffing food

It's very normal for a child on the diet to want to sniff the food he/she

can't have. Several on this list have children who are highly sensitive to

the smells around them since starting the diet. My daughter, Shan, is one

of those kids. It seems that sniffing the food satisfies their curiosity.

What's embarrassing is when they want to sniff the food of guests. Also,

Shan would watch every bite that went into a person's mouth. Thankfully,

she is not so sensitive in this area any more. I do catch her from time to

time wanting to smell my food.

Re: Stella had an MRI today...

Hope all is well for the VNS. Poor Stella, wanting

to sniff the food she can't have. One of my aunts did

that with pickles which was not good for her. She said

that satisfied her somewhat so maybe it's so for Stella

too.

Good luck with the VNS.
