Guest guest
I remember reading about meal planner program here, but I can not find these messages. We just started keto diet on monday and I have alot of work ahead to create and calculate meals. Our dietitian gave as a few meal plans but I found there was too much cream there. She is going to send me exel meal planner, but it is kind of weird and does not work 100% properly.I've been calculating meals by hand for 2 days and I found it very time consuming. Can anybody please direct me to the website where I can download or purchase meal planner? Guest guest
My daughter Shreya started keto diet exactly the same day Aug 23, 04. We are using Stanford menu planner. Its very easy to use. Doing all the calculations mannually is a pain. You use this stanford menu planner and you'll find it quite easy http://www.stanford.edu/group/ketodiet/download.html Where you started the diet? This group is really a big help and provides wonderful information. we are also very new and trying different menus. She is at large ketones level but has seizures everyday. Can anyone suggest that how much time this diet takes to show some effect. I know every individual is different but when we can say that this diet started working? Guest guest
Hi Kavita Thanks for the link ...but... I do not have Excel on my computer and it costs over 200 $$.I am sorry for asking that but maybe you could send me Excel if possible on my e-mail so I could use the meal planner? We started keto diet at Sick kids in Toronto.ph on classic diet 3:1 ratio.Where are you ? ph is also continues to have seizures ( myoclonic abcenses) but it is too early to say anything though. We are hoping for the best.To answer your question the diet is more likely to be working if you see SOME results within first 3 months or so .I've read it in Hopkins book, but I do not know what to expect in practice so we'll see.Hopefully you will see improvement soon fo Shreya Natasha, mom to 2 years old ph,suspected SMEI/Dravet's syndrom, keto kid since August 23th 2004 > I remember reading about meal planner program here, but I can not > find these messages. We just started keto diet on monday and I have > alot of work ahead to create and calculate meals. Our dietitian gave > as a few meal plans but I found there was too much cream there. She > is going to send me exel meal planner, but it is kind of weird and > does not work 100% properly.I've been calculating meals by hand for > 2 days and I found it very time consuming. Can anybody please direct > me to the website where I can download or purchase meal planner? > > Natasha, mom to 2 years old ph,suspected SMEI/Dravet's > syndrome, keto kid since August 23th /04 > > > > " The Ketogenic Diet....a realistic treatment option, NOT just a last resort!
