Hello, Fellow Parents and Advocates:

I am looking forward to connect with other parents and Advocates of children with Autistic spectrum condition. Despite my efforts reporting my son's unusual behavior since infancy, it has taken 10 years to have him diagnosed. He is high functioning (his vocabulary is above grade level) but he is just now beginning to read, thanks to mood-Bell. Because of his seizures, I am reluctant to place him again in public school, and his private school cannot accommodate him any longer. Can you recommend private schools and camps in Broward for children with Asperger’s Syndrome spectrum? Also, do you know of a social skills therapist in our area?

Would be very grateful for any guidance.

Thanks,

Ana

Hi Lynn,

Welcome to the list.

I'm Becky and I became diabetic this past September.

I know what you mean.

I'm still having trouble testing.

Don't use the fingers you read braille with.

I've been told use your ring and middle fingers.

Becky
