Guest guest
Hi, I would make sure to phrase it as a MEDICAL NECESSITY to control seizures. Make sure the neuro makes that clear. It is a pain to deal with insurance. If not maybe a state run program can help pay for it. Does your little one get therapies? PT, OT? Sometimes they can tell you about some programs that will help. In WV we have a Birth to Three Program that helps kids with special needs get what they need as far as therapies, coverage for special conditions. Good Luck. I hope you get help soon. They just have different names in different states. , if you haven't already gotten involved in this, I would highly recommend it. In GA, it is called Babies Can't Wait. Have your Pediatrician refer you. Seizure Disorders alone would make you eligible. You will get a case manager that will help you with EVERYTHING!
