Guest guest
Well I actually don't take any notice of the ketone reading on the multistix, cos I never seem to get a same one as on the single ketostix. Our multistix says read the test after 40 secs, well by the time 40 secs are up - it always shows heaps darker than the single ketostix reading. If I had read it at 15 secs, it would have been almost the same, but that's not what the instructions say.... Plus, we can't get the multstix on script here, so I limit them as much as I can, I wouldn't be able to afford them for testing ketones on a reg basis. The mutlistix can be very useful though, especially if you are having trouble pinning down a reason for seizures, like checking for infection, or blood or protein maybe warning of kidney stones developing, and the ph are the ones I use most often. Not sure of the UK's script situation, but I know quite a few families in the States can get them subsidised. ----- Original Message ----- From: paula Hiya So should it be multistix...rather than ketostix that we should be using?? maybe we could get these on pxn? a
