Hi Gretchen,

Yes, since going down to the 3.3:1 ratio we have managed to squeeze a

couple of new foods in, we upped his protein at the same time, so carbs

didn't change toooooo much, but I can def notice a difference overall.

Grilled hamburger patties (frozen packaged ones, so with some carb in)

with cheese melted on top is his current fave, and he is getting quite a lot

of flavored yoghurt mixed in with his whipped cream now, which he loves,

always has done. He gets about 2 gms of diet grated chocolate on top as

well, my other kiddies are actually quite envious when they see that one,

makes a nice change.

He is also enjoying a small 'ham salad' with his lunch, which is basically

just grated cheese and carrot and diced ham, all mixed together with some

mayo. Meal ideas for school are def getting a bit easier as the diet

restrictions loosen up a bit. Thank goodness, I was running out of ideas....

Haven't got to the muffin stage yet - actually I haven't sourced the

almonds or almond flour yet that 's recipe uses, but I'm sure I'll get

there eventually :)

Re your other post, nope, no dog at this stage, it's just too hard for us

to plan for any animals here at the mo until we know excatly where we will

be living once 's overseas contract starts up. If that weren't on the

cards, yes, but for now I'm afraid it isn't practical :(

Well done to Ethan and Hank the dog on their first place, what a thrill

for him that must have been!

HI ,

I like your idea of whipped cream mixed with flavored yogurt.

What kind of yogurt do you use?

If you have a food processor, you might try grinding your own

flour from raw almonds. I did this, but I couldn't get it ground as

finely as the gourmet store-bought variety.

Where could you be headed over seas? I have always wanted to

visit New Zealand. What a shame to have to leave.
