Guest guest
Ive decided in regard to the child in Eilish's kindy with the chunky cough to ask for Eilish to be permanetly put into the other room until its completely gone. Its so hard to explain about coughs to others. The mother of the child keeps saying its only asthma and her dr. said its not a cold. What should I say to get it through to them? Guest guest
, I know where you are coming from. I was just having this conversation with my mom last night. People pretend to understand, then are floored when I really pull my son out of activities or homes where others are coughing or have runny noses. I can't begin to tell you how many times I have been told it's allergies or teething, and two days later, has the same thing. Just happened a week ago - teething - and now I have had on Dimetapp for 4 days trying to beat it. You would think I had learned my lesson, but I am always trying to save others feelings, or give my son a little play time. Go with your heart and your instincts, so you won't have regrets later. I think we know deep inside when we are in a bad situation. Guest guest
I would ask them if they would risk it if it was their own child? Would they risk having their baby miss three or more weeks of school to be on ivs and constantly being stuck with needles and in the hospital? Would it be worth it to them to take the chance? It may be just asthma, but my goodness, if my kid were the one coughing I would hate to think that I sent another one to the hospital.
