Guest guest
Okay, not wishing to sound thick here - but cranial sacral massage - is that some kind of medical procedure or is it what we call Cranial Osteopathy, where the skull is massaged and manipulated so the body is back in alignment. If it is this, then I would recommend it, it certainly helps the 'flow' of the body - I don't have it done often now but goes at least once a year and has everything put back in alignment - sleeps like a baby afterwards. Massage in general is really good as a relax technique especially used with oils (be careful which ones you use though) - loves being massaged and this week when he has been so rough, I have given him quite a lot as it really helps with the possible 'pain' aspect after having a lot of very tight seizures. He actually lies down now and gets my hand and puts it on his tummy and then looks at me all expectant!!!! Just because he doesn't really have speech - boy can he tell me what he wants. If your cranial sacral massage is nothing like this and is a medical procedure - you will have to forgive me, I am from the UK and we are still using leeches!!!!! Take Care Emma. Mum to - doing 'okay' at the moment. > Hi, > Me again, Just started this massage. Guest guest
We have been doing craniosacral therapy with Jake for over a year. It totally relaxes him, he goes for one hour once a week and usually sleeps through almost the entire session. If nothing else he gets a hour of rest and relaxation - and since he deals w/ seizures just about daily, that's good enough for me. I have also had it done, usually about once a month, and it makes me feel better too.
