Sydney update - Doose Weekend

Sydney is doing great!

You remember she is the 3 year old with seizures since 5 months old.

None of the drugs worked at all, started Keto on April 26th, 2004.

As of yesterday we are down to 1/4 pill of 0.5 Ativan 2 x a day. That is down

from a whopping 3 1/4 pills a day.

We still see a pattern of myclonics just before each dose is due. For the most

part the rest of the day is seizure free!

Sydney's Development has improved in HUGE leaps and bounds! She is almost a

" normal " 3 year old!

The biggest improvement is her quality of life, energy level, alertness, speech

skills, balance, memory,comprehension, sense of humor, display of affection and

overall sweetness.

Over all we have to consider the diet a SUCCESS! Amen!

We can not wait to go to the Doose Weekend and " show off " the new and improved

SydneyDane !

that Saturday when you realize that you ARE NOT THERE! And the love and

companionship that you will be missing! We will miss you.....but you are going
