Guest guest
has the same breakfast day after day, he likes it, and miraclously he has never tired of it - even after 2 and a half yrs of being served it. I am more than useless in the kitchen, so it works for us..... Beaten egg, whipped cream and canola oil combined and made into a fried 'omelette', (no extra oil needed to fry in a non stick pan, it kinda slides around with the oil already included in the mix) with a small amount of sliced banana on the side to bring up the carb value (he is on a 3.5:1 ratio). He also has that same meal for supper, right before he goes to bed, but with less calories. His morn snack, lunch and 4 pm meals are the ones I vary and experiment with. PS - Just started him on a new yummy ice cream, almost identical to 'jellytip ice cream' - whipped cream (with a small amount of oil, about 4 mls, to stop it setting like concrete) with small chopped up chunks of raspberry jello, and grated low carb chocolate mixed into it all then frozen. The diet jello and choc I use contain aspartame, so not for everyone, but we don't see any problems using it with . ----- Original Message ----- > Hi guys > We have been actively practicing with low-carb( a-la Atkins) diet > for the last few months( ph is going on keto diet in august and > I am trying to get him ready as much as possible). Our biggest > problem is breakfast.I just do not know what to cook except eggs.I > do not have very good imagination and all low carb books I have > offer eggs for breakfast.ph loves eggs ang is ready to eat them > 24/7 but he has allergy (exema) that appears a few hours after he > eats eggs.I would appreciate any breakfast ideas. He also loves > wipping cream, eats it unsweetened with spoon. So maybe there are also > some ideas how to use wipping cream for breakfast? > > Natasha & Joe ( suspected SMEI/Dravet's syndrome, going on keto soon )
