Guest guest
Since going to a .5:1 ratio and not seeing any urine ketones, we thought that maybe we were " off " the diet. I was measuring with the scale and keeping calories limited. A couple of things happened. My calculations had drifted off slightly with each ratio change, so that they weren't quite as accurate. If anything calories were higher. The scale wasn't working so I just used the eyeball measuring technique. One of the meals wasn't refrigerated properly and caused diarrhea. One or more of these resulted in a great increase in seizures especially at night. They were stronger and longer too. I have since gotten a working scale, corrected calculations and menus, and given a bit of yogurt at each meal. Hopefully, when the digestion gets back to normal, the seizures will reduce to their previous level. Maybe we are still " on " the diet.
