is now live - the web address is www.matthewsfriends.org.uk

so pay us a visit and let us know what you think.

To all our friends around the world, we would welcome your comments

too, especially as you are so far ahead than we are as far as the

ketogenic diet is concerned!

We have put a link from our site to this Yahoo Group as the knowledge

on this site is outstanding. Hopefully we can all help and learn

from each other and make the Ketogenic Diet a first line treatment

for our children instead of it having to be such a fight for our

children to even try the diet.

Hi, take off the .uk bit.

So, www.matthewsfriends.org and you should get there.

Three of us were on TV last night in the UK, so the website is quite

busy. There is also a link through from Great Ormond Street Hospital

in London if you are interested in looking at that too:

www.gosh.nhs.uk - I think there's a bit on the front page there about

the ketogenic diet which if you click on it goes through to the

information about the tv programme etc etc and a link to the

's Friends website.

Reactions have been great to the programme and hopefully will have

raised the ketogenic profile a little bit in the UK. Tiny steps they

may be, but we'll get there in the end. I for one am determined that

anything we can do to help other children get on the diet quicker, ie

before complicated drug cocktails are in place which makes the diet

that much more difficult to implement, should be done.

Hi ,

Drop the 'uk' bit and you should be able to log on - if you have any

problems come back to me. When the address was first mentioned to me

they said .uk at the end - I didn't realise that we no longer needed

it!!!! I am not great with computers.

Hi, I did a reply a while ago, but it doesn't seem to have gone

through, so here goes again!

you have to drop the .uk bit, ie www.matthewsfriends.org and it

should then work.

Alternatively, have a look at the Great Ormond Street Hospital

website www.gosh.nhs.uk - they have got a piece about the ketogenic

diet on the front page. If you click on the link it takes you

through to some information about the TV programme that three of us

featured on last night (Tonight with Trevor Mc). There is also

a direct link through to the s Friends website from there too.

The programme was beautiful - I think they did a really good job of

balancing the fact that it's not easy, but for some children it is

close to a miracle and well worth every gram weighed!

Hopefully it will have raised the ketogenic profile a little more in

the UK and, eventually, parents will be able to choose this diet for

their children before they are on the complicated cocktails of drugs

that many are, which makes the diet all the more difficult to

implement successfully.
