So good to hear from you. I'm happy that the twists and turns of life have

finally settled down a bit. Congrats on the new house....if you need any

decorating tips, please ask....I would love to help you out! Don't worry about

the rest of us pulling the weight for you.....first of all NO ONE could

replace you and secondly - we all have those twists and turns on occasion. I'm

just happy to hear you are doing okay and Ms. Tinkerbell is doing her best :-)

Many hugs, Rita

Hi ,

I am glad you have the mediation behind you and that you have agreed on a

settlement without things getting any more stressful. I am especially grateful

that you have joint custody of your son. Is he doing OK with all of this?

We all have ups and downs in life, and that is why we have a board of

moderators! We pick up the slack for each other when needed. I agree with

Rita, you are an irreplaceable part of the team :-)

I am a little worried that your creatine when up some, but hopefully it is the

stress you have been under or that you were slightly dehydrated and will bounce

back.

Congratulations on the new house!

To the rest of our members who may have family in the path of Hurricane Rita, I

second 's sentiments. May God be with you all in coming days and keep you

all safe.

It's great to hear from you and I'm glad things are becoming more settled

for you. Congrats on the new house, I'm glad you found what you wanted. You

know we help out everyone here...moderators included. It's nice to see you

back. :-)

All our Gulf Coast members my thoughts are also with you!

It's Me

Hey Everyone:

I've been a rare poster the last few weeks - just trying to keep up with life,

the universe, and everything.

To my fellow moderators - thanks for allowing me to slack off these past few

weeks. I'll try to pick up some of the load again.

To all of our new members - welcome, sorry you need to be here, but this is

truly a great group of people you have found who can really understand what you

(and/or your loved one) is/are going through. I hope to be helpful too.

To Amy - congrats on the taper. I hope that you can make it through the

dreaded withdrawal.

To Rita - UGH! Sorry to hear about the teeth - just what you needed! As for

50, it's just a number - you've got those NJ roots that live a long life.

I hope everyone else is doing well too. As for me, the creatinine is holding

at 1.4 (a tweak up from 1.3), and all my labs look normal (as normal as I get)

except for those damn triglycerides. I switched from Zocor to Lipitor to see if

that helps - we'll see soon. So it looks like Tinklebell is doing her job.

As for the personal stuff, my (soon to be ex-) wife and I have finished

mediation - thankfully, we settled and don't need to litigate our divorce. I

found a new house (actually, this is exactly the house I wanted), and I'm moving

in a month or so. I have joint custody of our son, so for that, I'm thankful. I

finally feel as if I am moving forward again, and the stress is going away. The

best part was that my BP was still great with all this stuff (even at the neph

it was only 120/80).

That's about it for now. To our Texas and Gulf coast members, godspeed is the

coming days. I hope this storm weakens.

Hi ,

I missed your posts and your humour, but I am glad that you were able

to take time to do what you needed to do.
