Welcome to the Valley KL! I'm originally from NY also but have lived here in Mesa, Az for 18+ years now. I have a good doctor that I really like here in Mesa but that's pretty far from Phoenix.

I have some other names that someone gave me but I don't know anything about them yet since things with me seem under control for the moment.

Let me know if you'd like any of the names.

BTW, where in NY are you from? Let me know if you need anything here in the Valley. I'd be happy to help!

Hugs-

Ivy

I just moved to Phoenix AZ from NY and I need to find a new gyno that

is well familiar with our wonderful condition. I noticed Dr. Gorden

is here in Phoenix. Does anyone know him? Or know of another

doc in Phoenix that is good? Thanks for any suggestions!

I'm orig from Rochester but then moved to Buffalo and now I am here. I'm located in N. Phoenix now - As far as distance, if he/she is a good doctor that is knowledgeable of our condition I don't really care. Back in Buff, it took me almost an hour to get to my doc!

I'm originally from Westchester county but I went to college at SUNY Fredonia for the first 2 years so I know Buff! Lol My roommate was from Rochester too.

My doc that I love is here in Mesa. Her name is Jo Knatz. I've been seeing her for over 10 years and I adore her and her staff. You can talk to her about anything, she's awesome. If you want her info let me know.

It would be quite a drive for you though.

Bet you don't miss the snow in Buff! Lol I happened to have loved it. I lived in both Dunkirk and Fredonia. I loved it up there.

I see Dr Gordon and Dr who is also in that office. Both are very kind and caring and very very knowlegeable about our conditions. He is the one who diagnosed me with VVs in 07. I also have a friend that went to him and he was able to help her too! He is the best and so are the ladies in his office.

He helped get rid of my mulitple yeast infections and I am able to have sex again. I even got pregnant and stayed under his care with the approval of my OBGYN whi orignally refered me to them.

The only downside is he doesnt take most insurances. I got a gap exception thru my insurance so I pay out of pocket and am reimbursed thru UHC!

Let me know if you want any other info. I have been there many, many times.

I definitely need someone who takes insurance, I live on disability and can't afford out of pocket expenses like that.

Ivy: I am with you on that. We are living on fixed income so when I used up my office visit benefits (only six hundred dollars) this year I just STOPPED seeing any doctors. For theflu shot which I will NOT do again, I went where I could get the shot for twelve dollars. It is hard. Every chance I get I use discounts. When they try to raise my internet rate, I HOLLER... hugs, ml
