Hello everyone and thank you for letting me join. My name is

Kathleen and I live in Indiana. I have been to WW about three

times. The first time was in 2000 as a new mil resolution and I did

great. I lost 50 lbs and got to even start the maintainence plan.

The problem is I'm a huge emotional eater and my son got into some

trouble and there ya go all the weight back on.

I started again in November of last year and did really good for

about three months. I lost 20 lbs and then started at Curves. I

love Curves and was going there faithfully and working my WW program

too. I hit a plateau and the Curves folks convinced me to try their

program. I did and six weeks later had lost another 7 lbs. That

would be good, except that program is based on a high (limited) carb

program and honestly, who was I kidding, I can't eat like that and

it isn't healthy. So, that the the 20 lbs I lost are back on for a

third time, it is back to WW. I know this is the best program and

the healthy way to do.

My son, now off to college last week is doing better but I'm very

emotional about it and I don't want things to get worse. I figure I

need to get this eating stuff under control. I haven't been

attending meeting because I feel the support doesn't work just one

night a week. I have a friend who was in WW last year too and we

have decided to be accountable to each other. As soon as I saw this

group I new it would be great. Others to help motivate and keep me

on track is what I need. Not one day a week but everyday. I have a

highschool reunion coming in June and would love to drop some pounds

before then too, but if I don't get back into prehighschool shape

that is okay.

Thank you everyone.

Kathleen
