Guest guest Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Belinda, Instead of feeding tube that goes into your stomach (a g tube) - a j-tube goes into the jejenum, which is the top part of your bowel. You can be fed into the top part of your bowel but it must be done with a pump, slowly as it can't handle large volumes all at once.
