Guest guest
Hi Anita, I didn't have Femara and didn't have that problem but there are a couple of lubricants I believe. I have seen them at Wal Marts when I walk by the aisle with the tampons etc. Maybe some of the other ladies can tell you what the best one is. What sort of lubricants would you suggest, or is KY the only solution? I can't even figure out a polite way to ask...I am on Femara and I notice that I am drying out way too soon. Guest guest
Slippery Stuff is very good. It was recommended by a PT I saw for pelvic issues. Guest guest
This " condition " also comes with getting older and according to my GP's nurse, there is no none cure. It is also a side effect of Arimidex and the other meds like it. There are a variety of lubricants that are really good. KY has one that is a warming gel. My husband picked ours out. It is so important to get back to normal. Hope this helps. Guest guest
*Hi Anita,* *There are some long lasting lubricants on the market now that are far superior to the old-fashioned K-Y. My oncologist recommended Replens - what's nice is that you can apply it several hours before you plan to need it. I think you can buy this over the counter. * ** * Ann* *Chemo Hats: www.cjhats.com* > > > Ok, didn't really know how to broach this subject, > much less figure out an appropriate subject heading, > but I am in need of some suggestions and I thought I > would come to you ladies rather than start having this > conversation with my onocologist. Guest guest
Hi Anita, I have tried many different lubes, flavored or not. I found that most lubes got " sticky " after awhile. With all the medications I take, it often takes me a long time to " get there " . My favorite lube...never gets sticky...is ID Millennium. It is not cheap and you won't find it in a drug store. If there are Adult stores near you , you might get lucky. I order it from Adamandeve.com. I think that is the wesite, if not, just google Adam and Eve. They have lots of other " fun " stuff too!! LOL Good luck!! kimmy > > > Ok, didn't really know how to broach this subject, > much less figure out an appropriate subject heading, > but I am in need of some suggestions and I thought I > would come to you ladies rather than start having this > conversation with my onocologist.
