Good morning ladies,

Well, I'm off.. copies in hand, questions in notebook, 10 a.m. appt.

with oncologist. As I think I mentioned earlier, lol, she's going to

be wondering where I got all these questions from and I want to thank

you all for making me think and present them to her! I've since

pulled out my pathology reports and what not and have seen some pretty

scary words on there that were never explained, like " intermediate

nuclear grade? HELLOOOOO.. what the heck is that... that " moderately

differentiated " that others have stated on here... so anyways, thanks

to all of you, I feel confident to ask what I want to know. I know

she will be more like " why are we looking back " but I like to know

where I was.. I know that is no more, but .. I need to know these

things in English for my children's sake if not for my own!

I'll keep you posted later today. I'm nervous as always with these

appts. even though they are just followups!!

Peace and prayers,

Michele

hi Michele,

Hope you get all your questions answered at your visit and a good

treatment plan in place.

" intermediate " & " moderate " are better than 'aggressive' and 'poorly'. I

think that means your cancer cells fall more into the intermediate

category of aggressiveness and growth, e.g. you may be a grade 2 instead

of a grade 3 (out of 1-3).

take care,

Michele:

I hope that you have a great follow up appointment. You are an intelligient

person and compassionate, too. You are strong, too. You will do fine.
