Guest guest
Dear ladies, How interesting to hear about the hypo and hyper thyroid issues that some of you have. I have a nodule on my thyroid that the doctors are monitoring, and I have been watching my TSH (thyroid hormone) steadily drop over the years. Hmmmmm......they are going to check it again in June. They didn't want to biopsy it as it was too small, but I am going to a much bigger cancer center in June (where there are real endocrinologists - none where I live!), so I'm hopeful that they will be more proactive. In the meantime, one month out of radiation, I am slowly feeling stronger. It seems real slow some days though. I'm going to sign off for a few weeks while we househunt and move, but probably will be back as it gets closer to my 6-month mammo and checkup! Thanks for all the tremendous support and great advice. I don't know what I would have done without you ladies - truly, no one understands until they have been through it! Guest guest
Hi , I, too, have a nodule....yet my endo doc says that is " nothing " only something to watch.....Ok......as long as it's not a " node " as in ....can't remember...yikes!!! you know what I mean. Yes, they are watching my TSH as well on top of doing the ultrasound of the throid.......I remember the conversation my endo doc and i had: She said if we were talking about hypo instead of hyper we would be having a totally different conversation. No talk of biopsy at this point.....AMEN!!! Enough of that stuff Hey, good luck with the house hunting and all. Let me know about your thyroid issue's, would you? Your right.......What would we do with out this site? Nobody know's like we do....for sure. Thank you everyone...... Best Wishes to All Darlene mitchellst@...> wrote: Dear ladies, How interesting to hear about the hypo and hyper thyroid issues that some of you have.
