My son Lucas is 3.5 and has just been diagnosed with severe apraxia of speech. The learning curve is pretty steep right now.I am trying to learn about apraxia, set up appropriate services and learn about the school system(Lucas is eligible to start junior kindergarten in September and our team meeting is coming up in May.) I have been lurking on this site for a couple weeks - nice to be in the 'presence' of such knowledgeable and caring parents who know what I am just starting to go through.
