Guest guest
I finally did call to make an appointment with the doc today, had been asking me to do so for a couple of days. This aching throat and coughing (along with fevers and some regular cold symptoms) just didn't seem to want to go away. Not being able to sleep for more than a couple of hours, maximum, in a row, before waking up from either coughing or acute throat pain (brought on by either coughing or by swallowing), and not being able to eat more than a very, very little (due to the pain associated with swallowing) was beginning to lose its fun... Plus if it was bacterial it could be treated with antibiotics, so why not have it tested. I got an appointment right away. Turns out I have a case of bronchitis, along with tonsillitis. Unfortunately it tested negative for bacterias, in other words it's viral and not much to be done other than what I have already been doing, taking painkillers and cough medicine and rest etc. Hopefully it will go away soon. Waving a big welcome back to from SA, and a get better soon to Sharon!love/Reb

Guest guest
Oh Reb, bronchitis can be a real bear! I've had it 2 or 3 times, and it is very painful, along with tonsillitis, I can't even imagine how uncomfortable you must be. I hope this resolves soon and completely. Make sure you are keeping warm. Perhaps putting cut onions around your house like Anne sent us the article on, might help. Feel better soon!Love to you both,KateTo: MSersLife Sent: Tue, January 4, 2011 9:07:20 AMSubject: Back from doc I finally did call to make an appointment with the doc today, had been asking me to do so for a couple of days.
