Guest guest
Hello, I'm new at this today. I am a mother of 4 and live in Michigan. I just now am fighting an infection in my right breast. It was enlarged and red very little discharge and very painful and had flu like symptoms went to the Dr. he gave me a shot and diagnosed me with a bacterial infection. The swelling has went down drastically but I still feel a lump behind the nipple. Of course I think cancer I start researching and find I have the same symptoms as inflammatory B/C. Im not sure what it means when it says looks like an orange peel. My father just had his prostate removed in Nov.(cancer). I was just wondering does anyone have advice or input. Of course I will be having testing done when I save up a little money due to no insurance. Thanks, for everyones advice.
Guest guest
When they say it looks like an orange peel they mean it looks like the outside of the orange. With little " puckers " or tiny pin marks. Don't know how else to explain it. Please do not wait to get this checked out. Go to you hospital and ask to see the Patient Advocate. I am sure they can tell you where to go for help in paying for your tests etc. Also the American Cancer Society might be able to give you some ideas. But do NOT wait. I will keep you in my prayers. Guest guest
Please get this checked out immediately. Hospitals have programs or know of programs to help those without insurance. Please take care of yourself first. It may be nothing, but you won't know until it's looked at further. take care, runningbackmom1 wrote on 1/11/2007, 8:45 PM: > Hello, I'm new at this today.
