Guest guest
I take one box of Swanson's low sodium chicken broth, add carrots, sliced onions, package frozen french cut beans, any low glicemic (sp) veggie. WW considers it a free food. No starchy veggies or noodles or rice. ~Lainie~ ~*Lainie~*The StarGazer*~ My Astronomy Website: http://community.webtv.net/LAINIE121/doc
Guest guest
Well, weight watchers may consider it free, but for diabetics, carrots and onions are high carb veggies, if I remember correctly. I know we've always thought of them as wonderful, but I think both are high in sugar. Laurie

I have no problems eating these in moderation. It is a matter of eating then testing to see how it affects your bg's. hugs Eunice

Something like this gives a base for an idea to modify and use to fit your needs. For some people who just have problems reducing the amount of food they consume, making a food like this could be the difference between good control and bad. For some people it's much easier to control 'what' you eat instead of 'how much'. Mike
