Guest guest Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 Hi , Like Bonnie and Patty, and I are here in the metro area, so alternate transportation isn't a big problem. But I can imagine that being able to drive is especially helpful for Karlee to express her growing independence. was so disappointed for a while, as she watched her older brother and his friends achieve certain rites of passage. It crossed my mind to look for property on a golf course-at least she could drive the cart! Fortunately, we all got over it before any drastic actions were required. lol. Last year she took a cab from school to the supermarket, got her order and came back. At the time, we had just been confronted with the dizzy episodes, so she had to call me, and call the dorm staff, when she got there, and when she left. We mother hens were driving her crazy! I'm really happy for Karlee that she can do this for herself. (gray hairs for Mom?) in Ma. (, 21 yrs) Quote
