Guest guest Posted April 3, 2003 Report Share Posted April 3, 2003 Hi Everyone, I saw the new internist today..He spent a lot of time talking to me and explaining his approach to patients and patient care. He agreed with me that the way my former internist had treated me lately was totally unacceptable. Anyway, I am in a major allergy flare.. he talked about how to deal with year round allergies and prescribed a steroidal nasal spray to be used daily year round. We talked some about all the problems healthwise I am experiencing, and he is waiting to see what the outcome of my tests are next week before we decide on a plan for my health care with him in the coming years.. I will see him again three weeks.. after my tests are complete and after I see the surgeon for a follow up visit. Hopefully, we will have some clear cut answers to this right sided pain. He did say that he thought that the small kidney stone in my right kidney could be part of the cause of the pain , if not all the cause of the pain, and if that was causing the pain, the stone could be fixed. All I know is today I hurt very badly.. like H . e. double hockey sticks bad!!!!!!!!! Anyways, I did like Dr Etchason, and am sure we will have a long professional relationship. I wasnt reporting her staff, but after the extremely unprofessional and rudeness I experienced the other day when I called to cancel an appt , I am now going to report those two staff members as well. I am thrilled to find a doctor who believes in consistency of care.
