There is an organization called FORCE (Facing Our Risk of Cancer

Empowered). Its purpose is for support of people who are at

hereditary risk for breast and ovarian cancer. I found out about it

because I have a BRCA1 mutation. The website is facingourrisk.org.

There are women there who have had every kind of breast surgery and

reconstruction you can name. Many are cancer patients, although there

are also quite a few who have the hereditary disposition but who have

not developed cancer -- at least not yet. I have found it to be a

wonderful source of information and support.
