Guest guest
To the groups: DeFrance is one of the unsung heroes in EMS. She resides in Hope, Alaska and maintains several EMS-related web sites and is active in EMS education. She does her web-work this through a dial-up modem-oftentimes under the power provided by a Honda generator. She has done some work on my web site and would never let me pay her. This week her husband of 30 years, Ray DeFrance, died. While the death was somewhat expected it still came earlier than they had come to believe. Please keep Val in your thoughts. She is having a very difficult time and I do not think she knows the number of friends she has in EMS. I think emails of condolence would be good for her soul. Her email is: v.defrance@... Guest guest
, Thanks for posting this. I have never met Val, but have benefitted from her work. We will be keeping her and the entire family in our prayers. Don > > To the groups: > > > > DeFrance is one of the unsung heroes in EMS. Guest guest
I served with on the board of the EMS Orphaned Children's Fund for a short time. At that time she donated her time to do the website for that organization. She has always been a pleasure to work with. I never realized the conditions she was working under in AK but then she never complains. She us in our prayers!
