Guest guest
We use suppositories with Maxwell and that seems to work better than anything. We have been making changes with his diet and he can get really constipated. We have tried apple, pear, prune...you name it. But the suppository (sometimes need to be inserted several times...sorry to be so graphic!) is great! My doctor said it is important to keep a tube fed kiddo regular because sometimes that can increase the reflux issues. CHARGEr) had constipation issues that eventually led to megacolon problem. We had been giving her prune juice, but the GI docs say that leads to more gas as well. She has been taking Miralax and has done very well. We also give her acidopholus (sp?) powder to increase the good bacteria in her intestines. And we use Pediasure with fiber.
