I had them in my house for my Mother and Father and it did hel p the family. The pain is in your heart right now but love is forever and you will always have your love for her with you. Take it one hour at a time and do rest a bit and try to take care of yourself. Her journey is just beginning and one day we will understand why. a in Massachusetts Quote

Guest guest Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 Lorrie, I will keep both you and your Mom in my thoughts and prayers. My own mother is 84 and lives alone, but she is becoming somewhat forgetful, and I don't know how much longer she'll be able to stay in her own house. I know that death is a part of life, but that's probably not much comfort to you right now. But you should take comfort in the fact that she has you there to help her make her transition. My best to you both. Quote

Guest guest Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 Lorrie, I'm praying for you and your Mom. Hospice is so wonderful. Back when my parents passed in the 70's we didn't have anything like that. Hospice makes it so much more peaceful and painless. We'll all be thinking of you and your family.
