Guest guest
, not sure if this would work but its worth a shot... First: got to http://www.medtronics.com and negotiate your way around to the page on severe spasticity then find the ITB page then ask your questions. The doctor locator I saw was only for the US but I'm sure they have contact with European pump providers. Second: contact a doc who is involved with the pedi studies and ask about adult providers or researchers interested in adult pump applications and contact one or more of them. You might not find a doc doing the pump now but you would be on a short list of motivated prospective patients and may end up calling you. Good luck! From a personal perspective the pump has been a life saver. I am awake and still able to function. I did not tolerate most meds for spasticity (most were excessively sedating) and was on a daily baclofen at a 120 total dosage which had me in a perpetual fog. I have had ny pump for 4 yrs. and am just coming up on my first battery change. Lavon
