Donna,

What Laurel said...I've seen exactly what your are describing in some of the

catalogs I get. I'm not sure how stable it would be if you started to take a

tumble and there you'd be, on the floor, in a cage and I don't think they come

with air bags. I can't remember which catalog but will let you know next time I

see one. Maybe we could get shoes with those Magic Mover furniture slides.

Then by having a rope affixed to each place you want to move to in the kitchen

and the other end tucked into your waist you could just pull yourself there

without lifting your feet or you could carry a long stick with a hook on the

end. Hook where you're headed and reel yourself in. Those sliders really work.

Re:RE: Segway our version

As usual, Galen, your over my head. I just want something on wheels

to move when I move. If my feet get left behind I won't fall. It

would probably look like the old fashioned baby walkers.

Things I could do:

walk from my sink to the stove and ref.

prepair a meal without falling

get right up to the sink to wash veg. or my hands

hurry to answer the phone or the door when it rings

reach the high cabinets for a glass

hang my washed clothes from the dryer without falling sideways or

backward

dance

The part I have trouble with is how to get in and out of it. Any

suggestions? RONNIE - how about you?
