HBO is running the story of Jenifer Estess and her battle with ALS. I saw it

last week (by accident - just switching around), and it apparently runs at

Story in Brief: The Estess sisters fight for the life of their sister, Jenifer,

in their race to find a cure for ALS (aka Lou Gehrig's disease). Jenifer Estess

died on December 16, 2003, but their search for a cure leads to advances in

research that will change the course of ALS and other neurological diseases.

This is the remarkable story of three courageous sisters - filmed at a time when

Jenifer is almost completely paralyzed, but still fighting for a cure for ALS -

even if it comes too late to save her life.
