I will wish you good luck Kathy but I know you don't need it. Your

talents are an inspiration to us all. Let us know how it goes.

Does this mean we can ask for your 'autograph'???

Take care.

Woow that is soooo cool.

I'm sure you will do a great job at it. Its neat that you can get the word out

to people like you are.

Have a great time, just remember the old trick if you get nervous just look at

the people there and vision them in there under wear (heehee). Sandy

15 minutes of fame tomorrow

Well... maybe 30 minutes of fame, LOL.

Tomorrow and I get interviewed for the Cable TV show here. It's a

non-stop 30-minute interview. Connie, the host, will ask all the usual

questions,

like what the diseases are, symptoms, treatment, research, yada yada.

I'm going to wear a solid-colored pants suit. Hopefully, there will be a

make-up man. Not....

I just made a flyer with a diagram of the brain and spinal cord with the

upper and lower motor neurons running around and going out to a muscle so

hopefully it will help to have a visual to show.

I volunteered this morning at the spinal cord association and asked if they

had any models of a brain and spinal cord that I could borrow, but

unfortunately, they don't. So good that I have clip art files I could use to

make a

flyer. Interesting, the spinal cord association office is the process of

buying

some visuals for a new education program they are developing for school

children

to teach them prevention of having a spinal cord injury. So I guess I'll

have one next time!

If the tape comes out any good, maybe I'll share it. It will be shown on the

cable tv stations in my area.

wish me luck!

Kathi:

While having dinner with the producer from ABC this past Sunday, i asked

him about doing a documentary on rare diseases like PLS. He said that

he had done one relative to ALS, but this did sound interesting. This

gentleman has won 2 Emmy's for his documentaries Who knows?????
