In general, I've found that editors aren't that excited about doing a story unless it's a personal story of someone successfully dealing with challenges. They can't really do the story of a rare disorder unless they can feature someone dealing with that. I think Flora and you would be a fabulous story to share! Perhaps we can put together a pitch for them to consider. You guys are a real inspiration and working hard to make a difference here. They love those stories. I don't know when I'll be back in FL. Perhaps at the end of the year or in the winter to escape the cold. Ed and I are again considering buying a winter condo retreat.
