I just got confirmation that I am scheduled for a scan on July 30. For those not familar, Dr. Talbot is involved in the following: " A diffusion MRI study to measure loss of motor neurones in the brains of patients with different forms of motor neurone disease. " In the study they compare people with PLS and ALS with the aim of understanding the factors that lead to the different rate of progression which might lead to more effective treatment.
