It sounds like they are willing to play in the background during Registration Arrival, do something fun to launch us off, lead the TeamWalk, and then perform while we enjoy lunch??? Wicked cool. When I worked for the local United Way, there was a Dixie Land band that we used a lot for events because they were so fun. I spoke to Gracie at the Lexington Visitor's Center and she'll either arrange for a Park Ranger to do a 15-minute program on the historical events that happened right there or she'll do it. According to Lexington, the first shot of the Revolutionary War was fired on the Battle Green that we'll be walking on. However, the town of Concord claims the " shot heard round the world " was on the North Bridge in Concord. Let's let them hash it out! That historical bus tour has a stop right at the Visitor's Center so people can sign up to go on it after lunch, if they want to. best, Kathi
