Guest guest
Hi Evan, sorry I missed your post the first time. My work has been absolute HELL the past few days. Have you done adrenal saliva testing? I would suiggest that as a startt and you can order your own through www.canaryclub.org also you should have Ferritin tested as low ferritin can cause really bad symtpoms when you take Armoru as well. You are quite hypothyroid from your symtpooms but if cortisol is low your body cannto properly utilize thyroid hormones uintil you give it more cortisol. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Thanks Val yes I plan on getting the saliva test done as soon as i can. I had my ferritin tested and that came back normal but i'll see if i can get ahold of the exact numbers. the main thing is i had this doctor tell me out in michigan that he thought i didnt really need HC and that with vitamins and armour i would be better in a matter of weeks. Also, and this is just on a side note the doctor also guaranteed me that once I started his protocol all the hair I had lost would grow back by the summer. I mean compared to other things there are more things important to me than my hair coming back now, but it still makes me wonder because I have read hundreds of posts about accutane and thyroid hair loss and it seems that it is very rare for most guys to ever really regrow or get back their hair. In reality though I'm not sure because I'm new to all of this so could you possibly inform me of anything you have heard of guy's regrowing their hair once treating their thyroid disease? > > Hi Evan, sorry I missed your post the first time. Guest guest
I don't know about men specifically regrowing their hair after thyroid hairloss, btu I do know that women do regrow thei hair when thyroid and especially Ferritin levels are corrected. But you should have a full hormone profile done including sex hornmones to determine the cause. I do believe it si usually mor than just thyroid, such as thyroid and low ferritin or thyroid and low Testosterone that would be the cause of major hairloss,. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
