Hi Betty and Ike,

That's fabulous! I can't remember if you've been to MA, but there are many

things to see and do in the Boston area. Of course, all the historical stuff

but there's lots, lots more.

I just got back yesterday from being away for almost two weeks so it will

take a little time to get caught up.

We had a lovely Austin Lunch Connection. We had a nice group of PLSers and

HSPers and spouses and other family members. One of the PLSers was attending a

Connection for the first time, so he was really happy to be there and meet

others.

I hope to put up a group photo later today and I put up the MA Spring

Connection photos before I left. That Connection featured a wonderful

presentation

by who has had PLS for many years and despite that challenge, has done

some amazing things to continue his love of recreational sports. He skis,

using adaptive equipment! He brought some devices and Mark demonstrated the

equipment for the group and we have a photo of that. Mark had just returned

from a

ski trip, where he used adaptive equipment to ski. The Connections website

is:

For those in TX: is planning a Dinner Connection with a neurologist

speaker on September 11.

best,

Kathi

In case anyone needs it, the 2004 TeamWalk and National Research and Beyond

Conference website with all the info is here:
