Guest guest Posted May 23, 2004 Report Share Posted May 23, 2004 I want to thank Laurel for organizing the Iowa Connection.My husband, Tom, and I had a good time and met new friends. It was important to me to meet someone with PLS, and that person was Laurel.Laurel is a great role model with her upbeat attitude, and calm & cheerful disposition. I thought I was going just for my benefit, but I realized on the drive home that it was good for my husband, Tom, too. Now he too has a connection with this group, and I feel like he is listening more when I talk about some of the messages and people. My goal is to attend a Teamwalk or other event to meet more of you. I value each and every one of you for the friendship,support, and advice. Thanks for being out there!
