They swell and can cause a blockage in the opening between pouch and intestines. I know you haven't been having a problem, but it will only take one time to make you absolutely miserable. Plus, taking fiber with vitamins is bad because the fiber absorbs all the vitamins and your body doesn't. You should allow a 2 hour space between vitamins and fiber, or protein and fiber.
