suggestion for all

I have a suggestion for all my buddies out there that are having trouble with

balance.

About 4 years ago when ever I was doing my laundry, I would go to get the

laundry out of the dryer, because it was so low I was continuasly (sp) falling

backwards then having trouble getting off the ground and picking all the clothes

up.

Before my wonderful hubby had his stroke he made a wood box stand and put it

under the dryer high enough to where it wouldnt be a danger anymore. I havent

fallen backwards since.

I can relate to having a higher washer and dryer. Recently we bought a new

washer and dryer and I bought the front loading kind and an option was a 12 "

platform (drawer for storage) and it is so great. Now I don't have to stand on

my head trying to get the clothes out.

Alone we can do so little. Together we can do so much.
