Guest guest
Nature Hi, I have a legal question. I wrote an appeal letter to my former employer concerning benefits they owe me. According to the plan, they have 45 days to respond and can " request " an additional 45 days. Does this mean 45 working days or 45 calendar days? I sent the letter and received confirmation of delivery on April 28 and just today received a letter from them dated 28 May saying " thank you for your letter we will review your case and let you know of our determination " . I can't believe it took 30 days for the letter to get to a real person. I don't want to call my attorney to ask... he will charge me... and at $275 an hour....well. I guess I just have to wait and see when they get back to me. Bonnie G - Phoenix, AZ
