We will utilize the same motels as in 2002. The Holiday Inn Select (Madison Park, Winston-Salem) has reserved a block of 12 room, including five accessible (no roll-in showers) rooms in the name of " Autumn in Carolina " . The rate for the rooms will be $57.25 plus tax. That number may be increased if necessary. Those wishing to make reservations at the Holiday Inn Select should ask for reservations from the block reserved. The toll free number is 1-. I will be required to release any rooms not reserved around September 17. The Super 8 Motel is just next door and has rooms available at this time, with a standard rate of $71.88 plus tax. They do have accessible rooms, two smoking and two non smoking. The toll free is 1-. Web site is: www.super8winstonsalem.com. The is also a Motel 6 just two exits south of the Holiday Inn Select/Super 8 area. The rate is the lowest at $37.99 plus tax, however there are few amenities. The gathering on Saturday will be in the Fellowship Hall of Kingswood United Methodist Church, just a few minutes from the motels. Other plans will be developed soon.
