(grin) No one in this house has even the slightest interest in the game. In fact, we have no clue which teams are playing or where they come from. How's that for out-of-touch? I've checked both our televisions and there's no captions on either - and other stations have them so I don't think it's my TV... Thanks! The Hi-Definition Fox is not captioned, but the regular Fox channel is. Turning out to be a good game. Don't really have a favorite, because of course the Jaguars are my team....but since the Jags didn't make it, I guess I'll pull for the underdogs, which are the Eagles, I guess. Met 6 guys this morning at the grocery store that drove 16 hours from Mass. just to tailgate by the stadium. Oh my goodness....what devoted fans! Robin If you get a chance and can turn on Fox, can you let me know if you have captions? My husband was doing grades, my daughter was reading and our son was studying Earth Science. I was being neurotic and cleaning out a few kitchen cabinets. You know the ones where no one bothers to put the nesting bowls inside each other and after a short while the door on the cabinet won't close? Now they close ... and a there's a garbage bag full of mismatched Tupperware type stuff. As to captioning, I believe that is controlled by the local stations. Ours can be very inconsistent. As they explained to me the last time I called, the cable company has captions enabled, but if the station doesn't turn theirs on, the cable people can't make them appear -- they have no control over the original source.
