Maureen,

If I had slurred speech, I couldn't do my job as a therapist. Needless to say, I

do not have slurred speech. My voice is just beginning to crack and miss words

when I talk, but it is not yet a problem if I think before I speak and breathe

easily. (There are many times when I wish I had thought before I spoke. One

occurred just this morning!)

So, no problems with speech yet, just the words I use.
