Guest guest
Jill, Thanks for your response to . Don't apologize for your rants. That is where I always get a lot of information I need. I printed this one for the book of information I bring with me to the IEP meetings! Perfect timing too as I think the school will try to cut Deanna's speech therapy at the next meeting. Her speech therapist suggested that even though Deanna doesn't use some of the constanants in her speech, she can say them in therapy and doesn't know what else she could do. She is good as a general speech therapist but we live in a very rural area and has never had a student with hearing aids. Also Deanna told her that we have a private speech therapist see her at home once a week too and the school therapist mentioned that at our last EIP team meeting. Her speech has improved dramatically with both therapists so I want her to continue to have both. Anyway, thanks for saying it so well and for giving me the words I was looking for.
