How do other 5YOs get the Kindergarden skills in a 3-5 year classroom?

We did some at home but the reinforcement in all settings is really

important.

Funny you should mention that. We are in that situation exactly. Neal is

not the only 5 year old in his class, but his reading skills are ahead of the

other ones, plus there are two 3 year olds and a 4 year old in the class, so

how can the teacher be expected to really focus on Neal's academic needs?

She tries and does help him, but we are starting with individual therapy every

other week with a TOD soon. I think it will help him to have this individual

time to work on what he needs academically, while at the same time working

on the language of it all. We didn't ask the district to pay for it either.
